Intelligence in Place weaves together three forms of intelligence in the built environment:

  1. AI Intelligence
    • The sensing, automation, and decision-support embedded in tools, building systems, and (increasingly) the space itself.
  2. Data Intelligence
    • The ethical collection and use of utilization, behavioral, comfort, and performance signals to tune the workplace over time.
  3. Human Intelligence
    • The cognitive, emotional, social, and ethical capabilities that AI augments but cannot replace.

Where these three overlap—and are intentionally orchestrated—space becomes:

  • Empathetic: attuned to human needs
  • Adaptive: capable of learning and adjusting
  • Evidence-informed: continuously improved via feedback and data
